About Us

As a rural region, our goal is to involve SNAP-Ed participants with fun and easy ways to eat more fruits and vegetables, drink fewer sweetened beverages, and be more physically active every day. We are available to teach nutrition education and obesity prevention which includes cooking classes, taking tours in grocery stores, and community workshops in the Allegany, Cattaraugus and Chautauqua regions throughout the year. Our English and Spanish educators help families learn to stretch tight budgets and buy healthy food options using their SNAP dollars.

Upcoming Events

SNAP-Ed is funded by USDA’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or SNAP. This institution is an equal opportunity provider.
