SNAP-Ed NY teaches people to shop for and cook healthy meals while on a limited budget. Our goal is to give you the tools, tips and tricks that help you make nutritious food choices within a limited budget and choose physically active lifestyles. The Northern Finger Lakes Region covers Monroe, Wayne, Ontario, Seneca, Cayuga and Livingston Counties. Our team of nutritionists from Cornell Cooperative Extension and Foodlink come from educational backgrounds of nutrition, public health, health education, culinary arts, and physical education. Positive changes in nutrition and physical activity can improve your overall health and reduce your risk for chronic disease.
We deliver FREE hands-on workshops, food demonstrations, cooking classes, and grocery store tours both virtually and within your communities. SNAP-Ed works with many to make the healthy choice the easy choice. Check out our upcoming events and sign up now!
